Height safety for Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley.
Ladder lines, anchors, guardrail and walkways for packing sheds, cool stores, food processing and the region's commercial buildings. We come from Ballarat via Bendigo and plan trips so several sites share the travel.
The fruit bowl's buildings
The Goulburn Valley grows and packs a lot of Australia's fruit. That means packing sheds, cool stores and processing plants, most with big roofs carrying refrigeration plant, and mezzanines and platforms inside.
The roof gets walked by refrigeration and electrical contractors all year. Inside, staff climb to mezzanines and plant decks every shift. Both need fixed access that's designed, certified and inspected, not a portable ladder and a hope.
Food producers already trust us
Food producers including Luv-a-Duck and Bulla are among our clients. Processing sites run to tight schedules and food safety rules, and we plan the work to fit them.
Planned around the season
Packing season isn't the time for a crew on your roof. We'd rather do the work before it starts, and we'll plan around your schedule if it can't wait.
From Ballarat, through Bendigo
We're based in Ballarat and come up through Bendigo, which also means we can cover jobs along the way. We've delivered irrigation-country work as far as Hanwood in the Riverina, with materials and installation planned ahead so it's done in one trip.
Height safety systems we install and certify in Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley
Roof anchor points
Single anchors for fall arrest or restraint, fixed into structure that can take the load, not just the sheeting.
Static lines
Horizontal lifelines so a worker stays connected while moving along a roof, a gutter or a ridge.
Roof guardrail
Fixed or freestanding rail at edges, around plant and at roof hatches, so nobody needs a harness to work there.
Roof walkways
Set routes to plant and gutters that keep people off brittle sheeting, skylights and slate.
Fixed ladders and ladder lines
Caged or uncaged ladders with landings to AS 1657, and vertical ladder lines that keep the climber attached.
Roof access hatches
A safe way through the roof from inside, with guardrail around the opening.
Plant platforms and step-overs
Level, guarded decks around HVAC units, and fixed crossings over pipework, ducts and roof level changes.
Internal access
Ladders, platforms and stairs to mezzanines, ceiling spaces and plant rooms.

FAQs
Height safety in Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley: common questions
Do you work in Shepparton?
Yes. We've done work in Shepparton. We're based in Ballarat and plan Goulburn Valley trips through Bendigo, so several sites can share the travel. Tell us where you are and we'll work out the next trip.
Do you work on packing sheds and cool stores?
Yes. Big roofs with refrigeration plant need walkways to every unit, guardrail at edges and around hatches, and anchors or static lines for the work in between. Inside, mezzanines and platforms need ladders, stairs and rail.
Can you work around harvest and packing season?
Yes. We'd rather do it before the season gets busy, but we'll plan around your packing schedule so the work doesn't hold up the line.
Do you do internal access in processing plants?
Yes. Ladders, stairs, platforms and rail to mezzanines, plant decks and ceiling spaces, designed and certified to AS 1657.
How often does a system need inspecting?
Usually every 12 months. The exact interval comes from the manufacturer and AS/NZS 1891.4, and we'll tell you what applies when we inspect it.
Can you inspect a system someone else installed?
Yes. Any brand, whoever installed it. If the records are missing, we inspect and tag it and rebuild the layout plan and logbook.
