Daylesford Hospital extension
A Kattsafe vertical ladder line, anchor points and a roof access hatch for the hospital extension.
What the job needed
A hospital roof is used for decades by maintenance staff and visiting contractors. The design objective was clear access routes and suitable documentation, so each person going up can use the system correctly.
The extension to Daylesford Hospital needed a safe way onto the roof and protection for work once people were up there.
What we did
For Central Highlands Rural Health, with SJ Weir as builder and Richard Blight as architect:
- A Kattsafe vertical ladder line, so whoever's climbing is attached the whole way up
- Anchor points on the roof for work at height
- A roof access hatch
Handover
Certified and handed over with the documentation the hospital needs for ongoing inspections.
